A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR TRIPS
Our 3 day trip looks something like this:
Day 1:
Leave Appleton around 7:30am, stop for lunch and arrive in Shipshewana around 2:30pm.
Check in and then spend an hour at Yoder Department Store or downtown Shipshewana before heading over to Carolyn Yoder’s for Dinner.
Then over to an Amish farm then back to the hotel for swimming and rest!
Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our tour guide will meet us at 9am, then we will head over to Lambright Windchimes, my friend Laverne’s Teaberry Wood shop for a basket making demonstration and quick shopping. Then over to SilverStar Leather for another demonstration.
Back into town for lunch, then our Guide Sue will show us around the backroads and give us an insight to Amish living, ending with buggy rides at her friend the Millers house.
Dinner will be at the famous Essenhaus, then back to the hotel!
Day 3:
More local Shopping downtown Shipshewana with a stop at some local favorites.
Then over to Yoder Popcorn (On the list of 1,000 things to do before you die) before we head home around 2pm.!
